After seeing my bro play it, Front Mission 5 makes me want to play it too.

Delicious story is delicious.

...Not that I know all of the story so far since I only watch him play when I hear screaming from the TV.

I liked how the story is playing out so far (from the things I've watched). (story) Deaths are brutal in this game.

Something like watching a tank run over enemy soldiers because they're hurling every ammo they've got to blow it up. And then the soldiers stop firing their weapons after they thought they blew the tank up.

BEFORE THE TANK EMERGES FROM THE SMOKE AND CRUSHES ALL OF THEM.

ZOMGWTFBBQ

Now replace 'tank' with a huge walking metal death trap of destruction (wanzer). Like a mechanical Godzilla with bullet shells that could potentially kill someone if you're under the gun as the shells ping off it. >_> They even show it on the intro of Front Mission 5!

Of course, I remember in Front Mission 3, ejected human pilots (or just out of their wanzers) can make enemy wanzers (walking metal death traps) surrender with their tiny human pistols if the enemy became damaged enough. Crazy.

The game also likes using flash-forwards.

It reminds me of Thousand Arms' annoying use of the 'Meanwhile....' sign during cutscenes. For serious.

Hahaha. Yeah anyway, remember how I talked about Star Ocean 3? Grim Grimoire? Katamari Damacy? Bully? Suikoden 3? Mana Khemia 2? Digital Devil Saga 2? Raidou Kuzunoha VS The Soulless Army? Viewtiful Joe?

I bought them all. For too long have I searched and wanted for them~ Now I have them.

With my saves wiped out and all the jazz, I stopped playing the awesome games I've been wanting to finish in favor of starting(beating) the newer (shorter?) games.

Katamari Damacy is on the top of the list. ♥♥♥

It is weird and trippy. BUT oh so addicting and somewhat frustrating.

S-SO SCARY. That guy even has a black background with occasional flashes of lightning if you fail to reach the size of the Katamari he wanted.

The girl welcoming the restored constellations is also weird.

For serious. The first time I heard it, I stared at the TV dumbfounded. JUST WHAT WAS THAT LITTLE GIRL ON!?

People look like blocks of lego. Anything that you could think of appears in large quantities around everything like they haven't heard of a trash can so that the Katamari can roll it up.

THE MUSIC IS SWEET. A perfect companion for your Katamari Rolling Days. It isn't distracting at all. An earworm I would gladly listen to~ It takes time to get used to.

My bro beat me two times after asking him to play with me. He has no prior experience with the game. >_< On the second game, he attempted to add me to his Katamari!

The things I hate are:

• the camera focusing solely on the Katamari WHICH MEANS IF I AM SOMEHOW SANDWHICHED BETWEEN WALLS IT WILL ATTEMPT TO LOOK AT THE WALL. JUST WTF? The camera is a spazz. SEE ALSO: CAMERA SEIZURES
• GETTING STUCK. Many times have I been tempted to restart because of the time wasting as I attempted to get out of the narrow area I became stuck it.
• Using the joystick for controls. ):

Grim Grimoire is delicious. In its own way. Like Odin Sphere, the graphics makes me drool and want to stare at it forever. LOL

The story is strange (enticing?). The main character tells you in the opening how she will never forget the days she spent at Silver Star Castle.

You used a flying dragon to get to this SUPER COOL SCHOOL for wizards with professors of varying powers and goals united under one banner for training aspiring students on using their power.

THE CRAZY THING IS THE TOWER WHICH USED TO BE SOME SORT OF CASTLE FOR THIS EVIL DUDE WHICH GOT DEFEATED. SO BETTER WATCH OUT NEW STUDENT, YOU COULD BE STEPPING INTO THE WRONG ROOM AND THEN BAM. OH WAIT. DID I ALSO FORGOT TO MENTION THE SPIRIT OF THE CHILD EATING WITCH WANDERING THE HALLWAYS? DON'T BOTHER LOITERING ON THE GROUNDS AT NIGHT, OR ELSE SHE'LL DO IT FOR YOU. JAJAJAJA.

AND THEN THERE'S YURI LOWENTHAL Hiram Menth. A calm polite guy who welcomes you to school after you accidentally eavesdropped on his argument with a guy that said (something along the lines of that CAPSLOCKED PARAGRAPH above) the new students are liable to disappear easily due to the castle's nature/inhabitants and the new student's..carelessness.

Could it be that this prickly guy is going to be destined as the MC's love interest?

As for the gameplay, I tried skipping things/events and things went downhill from there. It is confusing to play if you didn't do the tutorials. I spent twenty minutes going, "WTF DO I DO NOW?" after I decided to skip stuff.

An introduction is suppose to lure you and settle you down in a foreign environment. Which meant long intros are sometimes done for the players sake. Katamari Damacy went straight to the game after a small tutorial. Bully slowly let you in on how to play the game before it releases you on the wild jungles of Bullworth Academy. You are going to enjoy this, no exceptions. Star Ocean 3 opened with a confusing JUST GO WITH IT, GO GO FAITOOOO. (information overload seems to be the name of the game, THERE'S A KRIFFIN DICTIONARY FOR TERMS! WTF) Mana Khemia 2's had a 'you can't skip this intro where we introduce all characters in a slow moving movie!' as an example.

In short, I tend to skip long intros the first time around because nothing beats like saying, "Welcome to za warudo!" after winning your second fight (your tutorial fight doesn't count!) and meeting that one or several characters that you tend to gravitate/stalk/swoon/force them to be your permanent party member if the game allows you to when you see them on the screen for the rest of the game.
